Blake Lewis brought a new light to American Idol. Many of us middle of the road Idol fans were suddenly obsessed with the beat-box boy formerly known as BShorty. Blake Lewis with his good looks, witty humor, charm and amazing musical talents suddenly had us glued to our tv's and telephones every Tuesday and Wednesday night like never before. During the course of our insanity we managed to discover that all Idol/Blake Lewis fans are not "kids" and some of us are actually "grown-ups" who were bitten by the Idol bug known as Blake Lewis. We were infected! We forged a friendship and even adopted a name for our little fan club now known as the Flower Girlz. We chatted daily on that OTHER Idol board but after countless Bleeps and Gags we realized that we were simply too old (YEIKS) to mesh on a site that is geared to a younger crowd. We decided we needed a place where we could connect without all the rules and consequences.
